Samantha Riley
Samantha Linette "Sam" Riley (born November 13, 1972 in Brisbane ) is a former swimmer from Australia .
In 1994 she was able to win the title over both breast sections at the World Championships in Rome. At the Olympic Games, however, it was not enough for a title. Here she succeeded in winning a bronze medal at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992 and the bronze medal in the 100 m breaststroke in Atlanta in 1996 . She also won the silver medal with the 4 × 100 m relay.
After she could not qualify for the Olympic Games 2000 in her home country, she was defeated in the elimination Leisel Jones , she ended her career.
In 1994 she was voted swimmer of the year .
