Sara Nordenstam (born February 28, 1983 in Lycksele , Sweden ) is a Norwegian swimmer .

Sara Nordenstam is a specialist in breast extensions. She set Norwegian records several times. The Norwegian was unable to achieve any notable successes at major international events until 2008. It only had its breakthrough during the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing . In 2: 23.79 she set a new European record in a semi-final over 200 m chest on August 14th , which was snatched from her only a few minutes later by the Austrian Mirna Jukić , who also held the record before. The next day, Nordenstam was able to win the bronze medal and recapture the European record behind Rebecca Soni , who swam the world record , and Leisel Jones in the final run . She improved her personal best since June 2008 by around seven seconds within two months.
