Sasha Luss
Sasha Luss ( Russian Саша Лусс ; born June 6, 1992 in Magadan ) is a Russian model and actress .
Life
Sasha Luss began her modeling career in 2006 at IQ Models in Moscow , and in 2008 photos appeared in the Russian edition of Vogue and L'Officiel magazine . In 2011 she switched to Avant Models and was discovered by Karl Lagerfeld in a newspaper ad who hired her for the Chanel shows. Subsequently, she modeled in campaigns by Christian Dior , Valentino , Balmain and Tommy Hilfiger and was, for example, on the front pages of Vogue and Elle and under contract with Women Management , Elite Model Management and IMG Models .
She made her film debut in 2017 in Valerian - The City of a Thousand Planets by Luc Besson . In it she embodied the role of Princess Lïhio-Minaa. In Anna (2019) she cast Luc Besson in the title role. Luss plays the title character Anna Poliatova, alongside Helen Mirren , Luke Evans and Cillian Murphy , a model who also works as a contract killer for the Russian secret service KGB .
