Schadebeuster is a district of the city of Wittenberge in the Prignitz district in Brandenburg .

geography

The place is a good four kilometers southeast of Wittenberge and five hundred meters northeast of the right bank of the Elbe . He is surrounded by the FFH area Elbdeichvorland, the bird sanctuary Lower Elbe Valley, the nature reserve Wittenberge-Rühstädter Labe region, the Biosphere Reserve Riverine Landscape Elbe and the conservation area Brandenburg Elbe Valley.

In the north, Lütjenheide and the associated residential area are bordered by Berghöfe and Zwischenendeich and in the east by Hinzdorf . On the other side of the Elbe and the state border, Beuster in the south and Losenrade in the west are the neighboring towns on the left bank of the Elbe on the Saxony-Anhalt side .

history

The first written mention of the place is in 1441 with the designation by Schadeboyster , in 1591 the spelling Schaffboister is found .

In 1946 the place belonged to the district of Westprignitz in the newly founded state of Brandenburg and had 49 inhabitants. On July 25, 1952, the former community came to the newly created Perleberg district , became a district of Hinzdorf on June 20, 1957 and a district of the city of Wittenberge on October 20, 1971. On May 17, 1990, the previous district continued as the district of Perleberg and was merged on December 6, 1993 in what is now the district of Prignitz. In 2006 the place had 13 residents.
