Schmale Strasse 51 (Quedlinburg)
The house at Schmale Straße 51 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the northern part of the historic Quedlinburg old town on the east side of Schmalen Strasse at the confluence with Kleine Gasse. The building, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is entered in the Quedlinburg monument register as a merchant's house. The building, which is also listed, borders on Schmale Straße 52 to the south .
Architecture and history
The core of the two-storey, late Baroque half-timbered house was built around 1680. Parts of the courtyard in particular have been preserved from this period. In 1777 the building was extensively converted. An inscription refers to this. There is a dwelling with a loading hatch facing Schmalen Strasse . There is an inscription on the threshold . The compartments are provided with decorative lining.
