geography

The wasteland, consisting of a residential building and four outbuildings, is located on the Wieseth . The Hausbach flows into the Wieseth as a right tributary. A residential path leads 50 meters further west to a community road near Gindelbach .

history

Schutzmühle was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . The Feuchtwangen monastery administrator's office was the landlord of the grinding and cutting mill . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the protection mill received the number 7 of Gindelbach when the house numbers were assigned . From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen .

With the community edict (early 19th century) Schutzmühle was assigned to the tax district and the rural community of Weinberg . After 1882 Schutzmühle is no longer run as a district.
