history

The village was first mentioned by name in 1327 as "Boobs Well". The place name is derived from an identical water body name, the defining word of which is the personal name Titto. The place name means as Zur Quelle des Titto .

The 16-point report of the Brandenburg-Ansbach Office of Leutershausen from 1608 lists 8 teams for Dietenbronn, 3 of which were subordinate to the Ansbach Council, 1 team to the Sulz monastery administration and 3 teams to the Eichstätt monastery . The high court exercised the office of Leutershausen. In the 16-point report of the Leutershausen Office from 1681, the number of teams and the manorial conditions for Dietenbronn are unchanged.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were ten properties and a community shepherd's house in Dietenbronn. The high court continued to exercise the Leutershausen District Bailiff's Office. The village and community rulership was held by the Eichstättische Vogtamt Aurach . The landlords were the principality of Ansbach (cloister administration office Sulz: 1 Köblergut ; Ansbach council: 1 half yard, 4 Köblergüter) and the Hochstift Eichstätt ( box office Wahrberg : 1 yard, 1 half yard, 1 Söldengut ; box office Aurach : 1 Köblergut). From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice Office Leutershausen and Chamber Office Colmberg .

As part of the community edict, Dietenbronn was assigned to the Büchelberg tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Büchelberg, founded in 1810 . On July 1, 1972 Dietenbronn was incorporated into Aurach as part of the regional reform .
