Scott Davies (* in Mine Hill , New Jersey ) is a professional American poker player . He won in 2014, the Main Event of the World Series of Poker Asia Pacific .

Poker career

Davies has been participating in renowned live tournaments since 2010 .

Davies first won the World Series of Poker (WSOP) at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas in July 2011 and made it into the money at the main event . In March 2014, he reached the final table at the Main Event of the Australia New Zealand Poker Tour in Perth and finished third, worth almost 60,000 Australian dollars . At the 2014 WSOP , Davies made it to the semi-finals of the Heads-Up Championship for more than $ 110,000 . In mid-October 2014 he won the Main Event of the World Series of Poker Asia Pacific in Melbourne . In return he prevailed against 328 other players and secured a prize of around 850,000 Australian dollars and a bracelet . In July 2015, he won the high roller of the Latin American Poker Tour in Lima with a grand prize of just under 60,000 US dollars. In the WSOP 2017 Davies reached at a tournament of the variant PLO with over 3000 participants the final table and finished the event in fourth place for more than 75,000 US dollars. The following year, he finished in 126th place at the WSOP main event, endowed with just under 60,000 US dollars.

In total, Davies has earned more than $ 2 million in poker playing live tournaments.
