Serhat Akyüz (born August 10, 1984 in Trabzon ) is a Turkish football player who currently plays for Eyüpspor .
Career
society
Serhat Akyüz started club football in the youth of Terazitepe SK and moved to the youth of İstanbulspor in 1999 . In spring 2004 he received a professional contract here and was integrated into the team squad. By the end of the season, he completed seven league games for the professional team. In his second season he won a regular place and played here for another season.
After the relegation of his club to the TFF 1. Lig it came to a separation and Akyüz moved to the first division club Çaykur Rizespor for the new season . Here he played three seasons and could not create relegation with his club at the end of the 2007/08 season.
So he moved to the first division Konyaspor for the new season . In his first season for his club, relegation failed again. This time he went to the 1st league with his team . Here he succeeded in direct recovery via the playoffs.
For the new season he left this club and moved to the first division club İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor . Here he played a season and then separated from the club.
In the summer he signed a one-year contract with his old club and second division club Çaykur Rizespor . With this club, Şalk reached the runner-up in the league at the end of the season and thus promotion to the Süper Lig . Şalk only made two cup appearances during his time at Konyaspor. After promotion he moved to the second division Balıkesirspor . During the next winter break, he left this club for the third division MKE Ankaragücü .
National team
In 2005 Akyüz was nominated once for the Turkish U-21 national team , but he was not used. With the Olympic selection of the Turkish national team, he took part in the Mediterranean Games in 2005 and won the silver medal.

- Serhat Akyüz comes from a footballer family. His father's cousin, Saffet Akyüz, is a former Turkish national player and his own cousin, Süleyman Akyüz, was active at Zeytinburnuspor , among others . His younger brother Kubilay Akyüz played in the youth of Galatasaray Istanbul , currently he plays for Eyüpspor.
