Sestre

Sestre ( Slovenian for sisters ) is a Slovenian singing and travesty trio. For a long time it consisted of Srečko Blas (* March 14, 1972, Daphne ), Damjan Levec (* around 1979, Emperatrizz ) and Tomaž Mihelič (* June 21, 1979, Marlenna ). In 2015 Daphne retired and was replaced by Miha Kavčič ( Michelle ).

Career

They started their first travesty program in 2000 under the name Štrumpantl sisters ( Suspender Sisters ). Sestre represented Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2002 with the song Samo ljubezen (composer: Robert Pešut , lyricist: Barbara Pešut) and achieved 13th place. They appeared in red stewardess costumes. The sending of this contribution to the ESC was controversial in Slovenia.

In October 2002 her LP Souvenir was released .
