Lea Sirk (2018)

Lea Sirk (born September 1, 1989 in Koper ) is a Slovenian singer .

biography

Sirk studied flute at the Conservatoire de musique de Genève , where she graduated in 2007. She also developed a penchant for singing and participated in several international singing competitions. In 2005 she won the Cologne International Music Competition in the singing category.

In 2006 she gained notoriety through her participation in the Slovenian talent show Bitka talentov , where she came second.

In 2009, 2010 and 2017 she took part in the Slovenian preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest without success . In 2018 she won with the title Hvala, ne! the festival Evrovizijska Melodija and represented her home country in May 2018 at the Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon, where she reached 22nd place.
