Sex doll
As sex dolls are primarily life-size replicas of the human (usually female, but also male), sometimes known animal body, as Sexhilfen mostly in the range of masturbation be used. Fixed dolls look more natural, but are also bulky - and more expensive. The effort involved with such dolls has now been carried to such an extent that some manufacturers try to imitate breathing and orgasm (up to and including skin warming).
Models that only represent replicas of individual genitals are also assigned to the sex dolls category. Most of them are true-to-the-original replicas of well-known porn actors. Most of these dolls are female and have a vagina and anus , but male models with anus and sometimes testicles are also available.
The prices for sex dolls in stores range from around € 10 for inflatable rubber dolls to several thousand euros for luxury dolls made of realistic, skin-like material.
Sex dolls can be an occasional aid to bridge temporary loneliness, but they can also become a fetish ( pygmalionism ).
In a scientific paper, the researchers Ellen Kleist and Harald Moi pointed out the possibility of transmission of gonorrhea through rubber dolls in unprotected intercourse and the use of the same doll by several people. This work was awarded the Ig Nobel Prize in 1996.
Sex dolls in the adult industry
At erotic fairs , particularly high-quality dolls sometimes serve as eye-catchers . In Dortmund is the "first and largest" German establishment of this kind with the appropriate name Bordoll .
Sex dolls in culture (history)
Oskar Kokoschka's Alma Mahler replacement doll
Mainly through Paulus Manker's Alma show, the general public became aware that in July 1918 Oskar Kokoschka had a life-size doll made by the Munich doll maker Hermine Moos based on the model of Alma Mahler . The doll was supposed to serve as a replacement for his lost lover, but it disappointed Kokoschka so much that he soon destroyed it. In recent years, the life-size Alma doll has been specially built according to Kokoschka's plans.
Sex dolls in popular music
In popular music, sex dolls are and have been discussed again and again. Especially New Wave - Punk - and heavy metal -Bands have always devoted to the topic sex dolls. The former New Wave singer and later Austrian State Secretary for Art, Franz Morak , also recorded a song of praise for an inflatable rubber doll in 1981 with Abwaschbar . The most famous sex doll songs are In Every Dream Home A Heartache by Roxy Music and Sally (Be My Girl) by The Police . Both songs were rated "offensive" by the BBC in the 1970s and were not played on the radio. Frank Zappa dedicated two of his songs to the subject of sex dolls: Ms. Pinky and Little Rubber Girl . The German thrash metal band "Sodom" addresses the relationship between humans and dolls in their song Die stumme Ursel . The German band Trio, on the other hand, always placed a sex doll at their concerts at the edge of the stage and explained this with the need to have a woman on stage, but there was none at home.
Sex dolls in the movie
In some feature films, sex dolls are occasionally seen to characterize the main and supporting actors. Sex dolls play the leading roles in the Canadian film Lars and the Women and in the Japanese film "Air Doll". As a kind of fairy tale, Lars und die Frauen tells the story of a sympathetically drawn eccentric who buys a sex doll and treats it like a person, which tests tolerance and understanding of the world around her. The Japanese director Hirokazu Koreeda lets a sex doll come to life and develop human emotions in "Air Doll".
Dennis Hopper can be seen in two films with "inflatable brides": In " Das Messer am Ufer " he lives with a rubber doll, while in " Chasers - Too sexy for prison " he pulls his inflatable doll out of the trunk of his car at the wrong time get.
In “ The Incredible Journey in a Crazy Airplane ”, a (male) clothed sex doll inflates when the autopilot is switched on in the copilot's seat.
In Tom Sharpe's novel Puppenmord and the film adaptation of the same name , a sex doll becomes a “murder victim”, which leads to grotesque entanglements in the tradition of British humor .
Borghild project
While Oskar Kokoschka's Alma project is documented and guaranteed, the so-called “Project Borghild”, which has been described on a German website since 2003, is an online media duck that many believe to be true. It says that in 1941, under SS commander Heinrich Himmler, the German Hygiene Museum Dresden was commissioned with the development of a doll for the "instinct regulation of the soldier ".
