Sheila Kelley

Sheila Kelley (born October 9, 1961 in Greensburg , Pennsylvania , near Pittsburgh ) is an American actress .

Kelley is the youngest of nine children of an engineer . She studied first at New York University- based Tisch School of the Arts , then at the Faculty of Film and Theater. Eventually she graduated from film school . In the 1980s she was a member of The Elephant Company theater company .

She played in the comedy film Singles - Lonely Together (1992) alongside Bridget Fonda , Campbell Scott and Kyra Sedgwick one of the bigger roles. In Days Like This (1996) she starred alongside Michelle Pfeiffer and George Clooney , in Nurse Betty (2000) alongside Morgan Freeman and Renée Zellweger . In the film Dancing at the Blue Iguana (2000) she took on one of the bigger roles alongside Daryl Hannah , and she also acted as a film producer . She was also seen in the television series L.A. Law from 1990 to 1993 , and in the television series Sisters from 1995 to 1996 .

Kelley has been married to actor Richard Schiff since 1996 and has two children.
