Siegbert Schmeißer (born March 24, 1957 in Gera ) is a former German cyclist and national cycling champion who was active on the road, in cross-country races and on the track .

Athletic career

He won a title at the races of the Children's and Youth Partakiade in 1972. He won his first GDR championship title in 1975 in the youth team pursuit A. Schmeißer took part in the 1976 Summer Olympics as a 19-year-old and was able to compete in the 175 km long road race in But don't end Montréal .
