Siegfried Schulz (Lieutenant General)

Siegfried Schulz (* 1914 ; † 1997 ) was a lieutenant general in the Bundeswehr .

Life

Schulz joined the Reichswehr in 1934 after studying economics .

After serving as a professional soldier in the war, as a prisoner of war and working in the Blank office , he joined the Bundeswehr in 1955 .

After numerous leadership positions, he was most recently Deputy Inspector of the Army from 1971 to 1974 . In 1973 the first Biber bridge-laying tank was handed over to the Bundeswehr in his presence in Kiel.
