Sigrid Wenzel (sculptor)

Sigrid Wenzel (* 1934 in Ratingen ) is a German sculptor .

Life

Wenzel studied at the Düsseldorf Art Academy . Study trips took her to France , Italy , Greece and Japan . Her works in public space include a variety of metal sculptures, bronze sculptures , portraits, reliefs , coats of arms , memorial plaques and fountains in and around Königswinter .

Sigrid Wenzel lives in the Thomasberg district of Königswinter .
