The Silberkauler Siefen is a river between Oberheide in Bergisch Gladbach and Broichhausen in the municipality of Kürten . It is a good two kilometers long, western and orographically right tributary of the Dürschbach . The Silberkauler Siefen takes its name from the former mine in Silberkaule .

The Silberkauler Siefen rises in the village of Oberheide at an altitude of 230 m above sea level. NHN and then flows to the northwest through agricultural or forestry areas. It flows through a pond in a forest near Hasselsheide . At Broichhausen it flows into the Dürschbach from the right. The stream has a larger nameless backwater.
Catchment area
The catchment area is in the Bärbroicher Höhe natural area and completely in the area of the municipality of Kürten and the city of Bergisch Gladbach. It is drained to the North Sea via Dürschbach, Sülz , Agger , Sieg and Rhine .

- in the north to the Steinbach and Dürschbach
- in the east to the Dürschbach and an unnamed tributary of it
- in the southeast to the Kotzbach
- in the southwest of the Volbach
- in the west to the Asselborn brook .
Forest and agricultural areas dominate the floodplain of the brook.
