Silvan Eli Sidler (born July 7, 1998 ) is a Swiss football player who is under contract with FC Luzern in the Swiss Super League .

Career

Silvan Sidler spent his junior years at SC Steinhausen, Zug 94 and FC Luzern.

In the summer of 2016 he made the leap into the first team of FC Luzern in the Super League. Sidler made his debut in the Swiss Super League on November 5, 2017 in a 3-0 home win against FC St. Gallen , where he was in the starting line-up. On January 16, 2018, Sidler extended his contract early until the end of June 2020. Sidler became a regular player in the 2018/19 season and played 24 championship games. On January 31, 2019, his contract was prematurely extended for two more years until the end of June 2020. At the end of January 2019, Silvan Sidler's contract was prematurely extended for another two years until the end of June 2022.

National team

He is currently in the squad of the Swiss U-21 national team.
