The base 495 (officially μPGA2 ) is the processor socket for Intel's mobile processors series Intel Pentium III and Intel Celeron M . The M base was introduced as the successor .

The 495 socket was also built into Microsoft's Xbox game console , but in the chip housing of a ball grid array (BGA).
