The base 3647 , also known as LGA 3647 is called, is one of Intel -designed processor socket , which for server processors of Skylake-SP - and Xeon Phi -Baureihen is used.

Other names for the socket are socket P0 and the Intel-internal material name FC-LGA14B . The large number of contacts is required to be able to connect 6 DDR4 RAM channels, 64 PCIe 3.0 lanes, Intel UltraPath connections (UPI) and optional FPGA modules.
