Exceptional use

The hall building could not be used from September 2015 to around the beginning of 2017 (one month of use, then a planned renovation or refurbishment). For about four weeks, the lecture hall building including the cafeteria, the administration building and the passage building were used for the purpose of accommodating asylum seekers from non-European cultures. The sports university could practice at the TU Darmstadt by arrangement. The rear part of the sports area was cut off around 2016 and refugee accommodation with a sports field was built.
