The Chinese spy Bob Hoe works as a stationery salesman for the CIA and lives in an American suburb. When Bob falls in love with his neighbor Gillian, he wants to quit the dangerous job. However, Gillian's three children (the pubescent Farren, the computer-mad Ian and the little Nora), who do not want him as a stepfather, stand in the way of their common future, but also the “ super villain ” Poldark, who with the help of a secret formula large parts of the wants to destroy global oil reserves. Poldark wants to control the world market price in this way. When Gillian has to travel, Bob takes care of her children during the time. The situation becomes precarious when he is informed by the CIA employee Colton "Colt" James that someone has secretly downloaded a chemical and very explosive formula from his computer, which in turn the terrorist Poldark needs to carry out his plan . He does everything to get the formula back and so Bob and the children have to fight off a multitude of agents.
