Srđan Ristić ( Serbian - Cyrillic Срђан Ристић ; born July 24, 1980 in Belgrade , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK NS Stars in the Serbian ice hockey league since 2017 .

Career

Srđan Ristić began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of the HK Red Star Belgrade . In the 1998/99 season he made his debut at HK Vojvodina Novi Sad in the Yugoslav ice hockey league and immediately became national champion with his club. The following year he played at Tas Novi Grad Belgrade. He then moved back to his parent club HK Red Star Belgrade, with which he became Serbian-Montenegrin champion in 2005. From 2008 to 2017 Ristić played at HK Partizan Belgrade in the Serbian ice hockey league and was Serbian champion every year until 2016. He also played from 2009 to 2012 for his club in the Slovenian-dominated Slohokej League , which was won in 2011 and 2012. In addition to his assignments for Partizan, he also played for HK Belgrade in the multinational MOL league in 2016/17 . He has been playing for HK NS Stars since 2017 .

International

For Yugoslavia Ristić took part in the U18-D European championships in 1996 and 1997 and the U18-C European championship in 1998 as well as the U20-D world championship in 1999 and the U20-C world championship in 2000 .

In the men's area, Ristić made his debut in the Yugoslavian selection at the C World Cup in 2000 . In 2004 and 2005 he represented Serbia and Montenegro in Division II. Then he was active for the Serbian team and played with them in 2007 , 2011 , 2012 , 2013 , 2015 , 2016 and 2017 in Division II. He also took part for Serbia Qualifying tournaments for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi and 2018 in Pyeongchang .
