Stürzelhof is a district of the town of Altdorf near Nuremberg in the district of Nürnberger Land in Middle Franconia .

geography

The village is located on the federal motorway 3 directly at the Altdorf / Burgthann junction and has merged with the Weinhof district. The state road St 2239 runs through the place as the main road. There are a few farms and a small number of settlement houses in the village. All around the hamlet is surrounded by fields, meadows and forests. Weinhof and Stürzelhof together have around 400 inhabitants.

history

With the community edict (1808) Stürzelhof belonged to the politically independent community Grünsberg . On January 1, 1972, the place was incorporated into Altdorf as part of the Bavarian regional reform .
