Adelheim is a district of the town of Altdorf near Nuremberg in the district of Nürnberger Land , Middle Franconia .

Geographical location

The hamlet borders Pühlheim to the north and is located in the Raschbachtal.

history

Until 1360 the hamlet was called Ottelhaim . When the place was taken over by the Burgrave of Nuremberg to the area of the Free Imperial City, it was renamed Adelheim. Albrecht the Handsome from the House of Hohenzollern and Burgrave of Nuremberg bought the Altdorf Nursing Office together with Adelheim from his nephew Johann von Nassau , among others . In 1801 the place had two farms. The number of inhabitants has changed only minimally since 1796.

With the community edict (1808) Adelheim belonged to the politically independent community of Pühlheim. On January 1, 1978, the place was incorporated into Altdorf as part of the Bavarian regional reform .
