The transept is to the east, the choir closes on five sides . The outbuildings and the side towers stand like a walkway around the church. The oversized tower is designed to work from a distance. The front side faces the town, the south side with the main portal is in the transept front . An outside chapel with a crucifixion group is attached to the choir . During the extensive renovation from 1981 to 1985, wall pilaster strips were introduced in the nave to support the vaults . In the choir originally captured on consoles were services extended to the floor.
