The Finnish state road 12 ( Finnish. Valtatie 12 , Swedish. Riksväg 12 ) leads from Rauma on the Gulf of Bothnia to the east via Tampere and Lahti to Kouvola . The road is 339 kilometers long.

The state road 12 branches off from the main road 8 (also Europastraße 8 ) from crosses in Huittinen the main road 2 and Nokia the highway moderately here developed state road 3 (also European Route 12 ), in Tampere, the state highway 9 (also European Route 63 ), takes in the further Follow state road 10 , crosses state road 4 (also European road 75 ) in Lahti and ends in Kouvola at state road 6 , which continues to Imatra .
