The Stade Saputo ( English Saputo Stadium ) is a football stadium in the Canadian city ​​of Montreal , Province of Quebec . It is located north of the city center in the 1976 Olympic Park .

history

The stadium was officially opened on May 21, 2008 and is home to the Canadian soccer club Montreal Impact , which has played in Major League Soccer since 2012 . Games by the Canadian national football team are also played here.
