Stara Nekrassiwka ( Ukrainian Стара Некрасівка ; Russian Старая Некрасовка Staraja Nekrassowka ; Romanian Necrasovca-Veche ) is a village in Budschak in the extreme southwest of Ukraine with about 3000 inhabitants (2006).
The village, founded in 1814 under the name Necrasovca-Veche ( Некрасівка-Веке ), received its current name in 1945. It is located on the north bank of the Kilijaarm, the northernmost estuary of the Danube , which forms the border between Ukraine and Romania here. Stara Nekrasivka is the southernmost point of the Struve Arch , a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Ukraine .
The village is located in Ismajil district in the Odessa Oblast and is the center of the district council of the same name , to which the southern village of Dunajske also belongs. The city of Ismajil is 4 km west of the village.
