Stefan Huber starts for SC Seekirchen-Salzburg . He made his debut on December 18 and 19, 2009 in Seefeld in Tirol in the Alpencup , where he finished 49th and 62nd. In February 2010 Huber started in Villach for the first time in the FIS Cup and reached 59th place. Since then, he has regularly participated in both series of competitions and to this day has won one competition in the Alpine Cup and three competitions in the FIS Cup.
On June 30 and July 1, 2012, Huber made his debut in Stams in the Continental Cup , where he finished 46th and 49th. Subsequently, he started again mainly in the FIS and Alpine Cups, until he started regularly in the Continental Cup from the 2014/15 season . His best placement in the Continental Cup so far was a second place at the competition in Ruka on December 18, 2016. This was also his first podium finish in the Continental Cup.
At the beginning of January 2017, Huber and his brother Daniel were nominated in the national group of Austria for the competitions in Innsbruck and Bischofshofen as part of the Four Hills Tournament 2016/17 . After he was able to qualify for the competition in Innsbruck, he and his trainer Florian Liegl attracted attention because they refused to start due to the most adverse wind conditions, although the jury had given permission to start, and thus accepted a disqualification.
On February 26, 2017, he won his first Continental Cup competition at Iron Mountain, USA . In 2018 further victories followed in Tchaikovsky in Russia and Zakopane in Poland .
