Stella Automobilbau was a manufacturer of automobiles from Austria . Another source names the company Stella-Werk Wien 2 .

Company history

Franz Weidlich founded the company in Vienna in 1947 for the production of automobiles. The brand names were Aero Stella and Stella . Production ended in 1948. Overall, only a small number of vehicles were built.

Initially, some vehicles called Aero Stella were created . The parts used were obtained on the one hand from car repair shops and on the other from scrapyards in Austria.

In addition, the company presented a modern vehicle in a catalog, for which both Stella and Aero Stella are named as brand names. The cabriolet with its streamlined body offered space for four people. The vehicle had hydraulic brakes and a swing axle. There was a choice of two four-cylinder engines . The petrol engine with OHV valve control developed 35 hp . A diesel engine was also mentioned. It is not known if this model was actually made.
