The Tomaszo PS fiberglass products mbH was a manufacturer of automobiles from Austria .

Company history

Wilhelm Tomaszovits founded the company in Achau in 1977 and began producing automobiles. The brand name was Tomaszo . Production ended in 1993. The company also produced plastic car bodies for Ledl .

One model called the SL Buggy or Buggy S was a VW buggy . The basis was a chassis from the VW Beetle , which was shortened by 27 or 40 cm. The P 35 was a replica of the Alfa Romeo P 3 from 1930. The technology came from the Alfa Romeo Alfetta . There were also replicas of the Mercedes-Benz SSK on a Beetle basis with a plastic body , the Ford V8 Coupé from 1934, the AC Cobra with the engine from Ford Scorpio , the Ford GT 40 with a V6 engine with 3000 cm³ displacement , of the MG TD , Lamborghini Countach and Porsche 356 . In addition to the engines already mentioned, four-cylinder engines from Ford , V6 engines from Renault 30 and other Moren were available.

The Ultra C was offered as a kit car from 1990 . The kit consisted of a tubular space frame, wishbone, frame cover sheets, steering linkages, pedals, two tanks of aluminum , body made of polyester resin , windshield and side windows and headlight covers from plexiglass . A four-cylinder engine from Ford- Cosworth with a capacity of 2000 cc or the V6 engine from the Renault 30 was used as the drive. Saier Automobilbau in Germany and HS Replica Cars AG in Switzerland sold it .

The auction house Coys offered a vehicle in 2017, but did not sell it.
