The automobile factory Perl AG was an Austrian manufacturer of tractors and automobiles .
Company history
The company from Vienna - Liesing first produced tractors from 1918 and began producing automobiles in 1922 . In 1929 production was temporarily stopped after the merger with Gräf & Stift . Between 1951 and 1954, cars were again manufactured. Omnibuses were made until 1968.

Tractors
From 1918 the Perl company first built a tractor with a four-cylinder 35 hp engine that was cast in two blocks. This engine was later installed in Perl trucks. The Perl electric tractor was brought to series production in 1921.
Automobiles
In 1922 the small car 3/10 PS with a four-cylinder engine with 800 cm³ displacement appeared as a three-seater and roadster. In 1924 the 3/14 PS appeared with the same engine, also as a coupé and sedan. The 4/17 PS Suprema model was presented in 1925 and produced from 1926.
Between 1951 and 1954 there was the small car Champion 250 , a license production of the German Champion 250 . It was equipped with a two-stroke engine with 250 cm³ displacement with 9 hp .
A vehicle of this brand is exhibited in the "Historama" museum in Ferlach .
buses
Line buses were built for the Liesing - Perchtoldsdorf and Liesing - Kaltenleut ents line operations . The Liesinger Omnibus-Betriebs-Gesellschaft LOBEG was founded in 1922/23. On January 1st, 1923 the company was converted into a stock corporation in order to get money for new investments.
In 1946, the first post-war bus Perl with a self-supporting omnibus created body and a Maybach - rear engine performance with 105 hp. It was delivered as a regular bus, a luxury coach and a long-distance coach. After the Maybach engines, the buses were equipped with Steyr engines and Steyr axles and later with Henschel components.

In 1927 the company Quick trucks and electric trucks produced for the post with 1.5 to 2 tons, strong with a 45 hp six-cylinder - Chrysler - block engine were low frame and balloon tires.
