The HICOTEC AG , formerly HS Replica Cars AG , a Swiss company in the automotive sector and former manufacturers of automobiles .

Company history

The company HS Replica Cars AG from Gerlafingen started importing and producing automobiles in 1988. The brand name was HS . Own production ended in 2006. In 2010 it was renamed Hicotec AG .

Initially, kits from Martin Automobiles , and between 1989 and 1994 also from Westfield Sportscars, were assembled. The HS Cobra model appeared around 1991. This was a replica of the AC Cobra . A tubular frame developed in-house was used for this. There was a choice of six-cylinder and eight-cylinder engines . Due to the current emissions regulations, production came to an end in 2006.

Imports

Vehicles from Apal , Dax , Pilgrim Cars , Realm Engineering , Saier and Tomaszo were imported .
