The S ociété I ndustrielle G enevoise de M écanique et d ' A utomobiles was a Swiss automobile manufacturer. The brand name was Sigma .

Company history

The company began producing automobiles in 1909 in the former factory of the Société des Établissements L. Picker, Moccand & Cie in Geneva . Production ended in 1914. A total of around 250 vehicles were built.

The first model was the 8/11 CV , which was equipped with a four-cylinder engine with 1593 cm³ displacement and was produced until around 1911. In 1910 two models with a four-cylinder valve engine followed , the 18 CV with a displacement of 2614 cm³ and the 28 CV with a displacement of 4576 cm³. In 1912 the 15 CV and 25 CV Grand Tourisme models also appeared .

Two vehicles of this brand can be seen in the Musée de l'automobile de la Fondation Pierre Gianadda in Martigny .
