Company history
In 1905 J. Weidmann founded the company for the production of automobiles and accessories at Brunaustraße 95 in Brunau near Zurich . In particular, multi-plate clutches have been supplied to many automobile manufacturers at home and abroad. The brand name of the automobiles was Brunau-Weidmann . Plans to take part in the 1907 trip from Beijing to Paris were not implemented. In 1908 production ended under its own brand name. The company also manufactured some vehicles for Automobiles Helios and Fischer-Wagen AG .

First commercial vehicles were created, including the 16/20 PS model as a ten-seater bus , presented in 1906 at the second Geneva Motor Show . In 1907 the Alpina passenger car models appeared as 14/18 hp and 20/24 hp . These models had a four-cylinder - monobloc engine and shaft drive.
