The Stellbrookmoor is a nature reserve in the Schleswig-Holstein municipality of Heidmühlen in the Segeberg district .

description

The approximately 35.4 hectare nature reserve is registered under number 74 in the directory of nature reserves of the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Areas. It was expelled in 1968 (date of regulation: October 14, 1968). The nature reserve is part of the FFH area "Osterautal". It is bordered to the north by the conservation area "Bad Bramstedt (Bramerau-Osterau, Schmalfelder Au, High Moor)". The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the Segeberg district.

The nature reserve lies roughly between Neumünster , Bad Bramstedt and Bad Segeberg on the edge of the Osterau valley . It represents a radical of the dehydrated and were dug adjusting Brook Moors under protection, a bog that used with the southwest lying rabbit and Langlohmoor and the Halloher and Holmer Moor one of bogs and Heiden formed embossed landscape unit. The area is characterized by open areas with wooded areas on the edges. It is to be developed with adjacent areas on the Osterau to a network of nature-determined areas.

The nature reserve borders on roads and paths to the north, west and east. To the north and east there are wooded areas, to the south and west there are agricultural areas . The area drains to Osterau.

The nature reserve is looked after by the Schleswig-Holstein State Hunting Association.
