Steven Antin
Steven Howard Antin (born April 19, 1958 in Queens , New York City , New York ; also Steve Antin ) is an American actor , screenwriter , film producer , film director and stuntman . For the soundtrack of the film Burlesque (2010) he also wrote the film song But I Am a Good Girl .
Life
Early life
Steven Howard Antin was born in 1958 to British Jews in the New York borough of Queens . He is the brother of actor Neil Antin , The Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin and hair stylist Jonathan Antin .
Career
Antin moved to Los Angeles , California and got various roles in films and television series. Some of the best known include The Goonies (1985), 21 Jump Street - Crime Scene Classroom , Accused (1988), and Two LA Singles , (1997). In 1992 he wrote his first screenplay for the film The normal madness . In 1999 the script for Gloria had a great success. He later started his career as a stuntman .
Following these major successes, he created, wrote, and produced the television series Rawley High - The First Semester ( Originally Young Americans ) for The WB .
In the late 2000s, Antin switched to directing and staging several music videos. In 2006 Antin made his film debut as a director with The Goode's House . In 2010 he directed and wrote the screenplay for the film Burlesque . The main role played the Grammy Award winner Christina Aguilera . Also starring are Oscar Grammy - Emmy - and Golden Globe -Preisträgerin Cher , Stanley Tucci , and Cam Gigandet to see.
Antin is homosexual and previously dated American music and film producer David Geffen for a little over a year.
