The constituency of Würzburg-Stadt is one of around 90 constituencies in elections to the Bavarian State Parliament and the district meetings as well as in referendums . He belongs to the constituency of Lower Franconia .

Since the state elections in 2013 , it has included the district-free city of Würzburg and, from the Würzburg district, the municipalities of Gerbrunn and Rottendorf, following changes in area compared to 2008 The other communities in this district are in the Würzburg-Land district .
