Studzionka ( German Staude ) is a village with a Schulzenamt of the municipality Pszczyna in the Powiat Pszczyński of the Silesian Voivodeship in Poland .

The village is located in the Auschwitz basin . It has an area of ​​2308 ha .

Neighboring towns are Pawłowice in the west, Mizerów in the north, Brzeźce in the northeast, Wisła Wielka in the southeast and Wisła Mała in the south.

history

The village is in Upper Silesia .

The place was first mentioned in a document around 1305 in the Liber fundationis episcopatus Vratislaviensis (tenth register of the diocese of Breslau ) as an item in Stuczonka deberit [debent] esse XL mansi . The parish of Studna was mentioned in the Peterspfennigregister of 1326 in the Auschwitz deanery of the Krakow diocese , which was also an example of small changes in the boundary between dioceses. It then belonged to the diocese of Krakow until the time of the Reformation and then again to the diocese of Breslau.

Politically, the village belonged to the Duchy of Ratibor in the time of Polish particularism . Since 1327 consisted suzerainty of the Kingdom of Bohemia and since 1526 it belonged to the Habsburg monarchy .

From 1975 to 1998 Studzionka was part of the Katowice Voivodeship .
