After the monastery was closed in the course of the Josephine reforms, the monastic court of Suk was parceled out in 1784. The settlement created in this way formed its own local community.

After the abolition of patrimonial Suky was connected as a district to the municipality Obyčtov in the political district of Neustadtl from 1850 . Suky has been part of the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou since 1949 . At the beginning of 1961 Suky was transferred to Ostrov nad Oslavou . In 1991 the place had 38 inhabitants. In 2001 the village consisted of 19 houses in which 36 people lived.
