Svinišťany (German pig skull ) is a district of the municipality Dolany in Okres Náchod in the Czech Republic. It is located two kilometers northeast of Dolany. The European route 67 runs through Svinišťany .

Neighboring towns are Miskolezy ( Miskoles ) and Lhota in the north, Vestec in the northeast, Velký Třebešov and Česká Skalice in the east, Dolany in the southwest and Chvalkovice in the northeast.
history
Svinišťany initially belonged to the city of Jaroměř . Around 1560 it came to the Chvalkovice rule, which in 1665 belonged to Rudolf Dobřenský von Dobřenic. 1798 Jan Josef sold Dobřenský Dobrenić of the rule Chvalkovice together with the villages Svinišťany, Nesytov ( Nimmersatt ) Komárov ( Komarov ) Říkov , Sebuč ( Sebutsch ), Bukovina ( upper or Kleinbok ) Žluva and Výhled ( Weihled ) the Kurland Duke Peter of Biron . He united these places with the Nachod rule , with which Svinišťany remained connected until the abolition of patrimonial rule in 1848. Svinišťany was parish after Skalitz .
In 1836, 254 people lived in pig skulls, who lived in 40 houses. For this year, a farm , a sheep farm , an inn, a Heger's apartment and a brickyard are occupied.
Svinišťany became famous in the German War of 1866, when the battle with pig skulls took place there.
In 1991 Svinišťany had 140 inhabitants. In 2001 the place consisted of 56 houses in which 154 people lived.
