Svetlana Sergejewna Terentjewa ( Russian Светлана Сергеевна Терентьева ; born September 25, 1983 in Pervouralsk , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been playing for SKSO Yekaterinburg in the Shenskaya Hockey League since 2015 .
Career
Svetlana Terentjewa started playing ice hockey when she was in second grade and was discovered by a women's ice hockey coach. At first she played in her native city. At the age of 14, she moved to Spartak-Merkuri Yekaterinburg, with whom she won the Russian championship in 2000. In the following years she was runner-up with Spartak several times before moving to SKIF Nizhny Novgorod in 2008 . With the Russian top women's club, she won the European Women Champions Cup in 2009 and her second Russian championship title in 2010.
International
Between 1999 and 2011 she was a regular player in the Russian national team and took part in two Olympic ice hockey tournaments with them. The Russians took sixth place each. In addition, Terentyeva took part in the ice hockey world championships annually and won the bronze medal in 2001 .
