The Tadami Line ( Japanese 只見 線 , Tadami-sen ) is a Japanese railway line that runs between Aizu Wakamatsu in Fukushima Prefecture and Koide in Niigata Prefecture and is operated by the East Japan Railway Company (JR East). The line was opened in 1942, is single-track and not electrified. The name Tadami-Line comes from the Tadami-Gawa River, which flows parallel to the railway line. The Aizu-kogen plateau, a national park with hot springs, which can be reached via the Tadami station, is of great tourist interest.
