Baptismal font in Remy

The baptismal font in the Catholic parish church of St-Denis in Remy , a French parish in the Oise department in the Hauts-de-France region , was created in the 13th century. In 1913 the Gothic baptismal font was added to the list of protected objects ( Base Palissy ) in France as Monument historique .

The 89 cm high baptismal font made of limestone stands on an octagonal base. The basin was obviously made from a capital . The color scheme dates from the 19th century.
