Taxi is a Romanian pop-rock - band , which is active in 1999. She represented Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 in Stockholm , Sweden , with the song The Moon or the Romanian version Luna .

Participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2000

In 2000, Taxi was selected to represent Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 in Stockholm. There they appeared as the sixth act of the evening, before them Sofia Mestari from France and after them Claudette Pace from Malta . They reached 17th place, the best result in Romania to date.
