Mihai Trăistariu

Mihai Trăistariu (born December 16, 1976 in Piatra Neamț , Neamț County ) is a Romanian singer and musician.

From 1998 to 2004 he formed the Duo Valahia with Dorin Topală ; then he began his solo career.

Trăistarius' musical career is closely linked to the Eurovision Song Contest . Overall, he took part in the Romanian qualifications five times with Valahia and as a soloist. In 2006 he was able to prevail against the national competition with the Tornero title . With the Eurodance song in English and Italian, he reached 4th place in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Athens and the highest score for Romania of 172 points so far. In Greece, the song Tornero was released as a duet with the singer Tamta and is sung in English, Italian and Greek. The amazing thing about his voice is that it has a voice volume of 5 1/3 octaves .

Trăistariu currently lives in Constanța . His debut album was released in 2005.
