Alexandru Ionuț "Alex" Florea (born September 15, 1991 in Constanța ) is a Romanian singer .

Live and act

Florea comes from Constanța and studied journalism , but dropped out and started a master's degree in theater at Ovidius University in Constanța.

He took part in Vocea României in 2015 and made it to the semi-finals.

In 2017 he took part in the Selecția Națională 2017 together with Ilinca . After both of them started playing the song Yodel It! reached the maximum number of points in the preliminary round, they were able to win in the final with twice as many votes (10400 to 5200) as Mihai Trăistariu in second place, so that they were now allowed to represent Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev . In the second semifinals, the two placed in the top ten and thus qualified for the final, where they came in seventh.
