The Telgenbusch nature reserve is located in the area of ​​the city of Herten in the Recklinghausen district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The approximately 49.8 ha area, which consists of two sub-areas, was placed under nature protection in 2012 under the key number RE-057 . It extends northeast of Bertlich . To the west of the area runs the L 630 state road and the L 638 to the east. The Bertlich nature reserve extends over 6.5 hectares to the west, the Loemühlenbachtal nature reserve covers 60.5 hectares to the north-east and the Hasseler Mühlenbach and Lamerottbach nature reserve covers 42 hectares to the south .
