Tetětice (German Tetietitz , formerly Tettetitz ) is a district of the municipality Počenice-Tetětice in the Czech Republic . It is located 11 kilometers southwest of Kroměříž and belongs to the Okres Kroměříž .

geography

Tetětice is located in the northern foothills of the Litentschitzer hill country . The village is located at the western foot of the Hambalky (374 m) above the basins of the streams Tetětický potok and Haná. The Hájky (348 m) rise to the north, the Čizová (363 m) to the northeast, the Hambalky and the Troják ( Dreystein , 396 m) to the east, the Přední díly (343 m) to the south and the Vejvaň (298 m) to the northwest.

Neighboring towns are Dřínov , Vitčice and Vlčí Doly in the north, Srnov and Věžky in the Northeast, Popovice and Rataje in the east, Šelešovice , Nětčice and Medlov in the southeast, Troubky , Zdislavice , Vinohradčík and Hoštice in the south, Slížany and Morkovice in the southwest, Počenice in the West as well as Uhřice and Unčice in the north-west.

history

The Teczeticze estate was first mentioned in writing in 1358. In 1391 the place was called Teteczicz , 1437 Teteticze and Tetietycz , 1507 Theteticz and from 1511 Teteticz . In the course of time the estate lost its independence and came under the rule of Nezamyslice .

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Tetětice / Tettetitz 1850 a municipality in the district administration Kremsier . The current place name Tetětice has been used since 1924. At the beginning of 1961 the merger with Počenice to the municipality Počenice-Tetětice took place . In 1991 there were 257 people living in the village. In the 2001 census, 104 houses and 285 inhabitants were counted.

  • Chapel of St. Guardian angel with bell tower, in the southern part of the village, built in 1836
